Visit'insolite Gourdon

In the heart of the medieval town of Gourdon, the Visit’insolites offer an unusual way to explore the town, on the borderline between the sensitive, the playful and the artistic. Observe without looking, walk blindfolded, listen to the sounds of our heritage… all new ways to experience the town in a different way.

These tours invite you to slow down, be surprised and reconnect with the moment. In the old streets, familiar viewpoints are transformed, and gestures become tools of discovery. And to extend the experience, the tour ends with a tasting of local produce – a convivial moment to share, with your taste buds also on the alert.

Lud'Ambule rally Gourdon

Along cobbled streets, secret staircases and unexpected viewpoints, the Lud’ambules transform the medieval town of Gourdon into a veritable adventure playground. Designed with families in mind, these fun walks combine treasure hunts, riddles, observation challenges and heritage discovery.

You move forward together, looking for clues, looking up, listening to the walls tell their story… It’s a fun, interactive way to explore the town, letting children become explorers for a day. Each route is an invitation to learn in a different way, in a spirit of sharing and active discovery.

Torch-lit tour Gourdon

When the sun sets over Gourdon, another town appears. The cobblestones darken, the facades take on a mysterious quality, and the shadows come to life in the torchlight.

This nocturnal tour plunges you into a timeless atmosphere. The monuments seem to whisper, the alleyways are filled with forgotten stories, and the medieval city reveals a new, more intimate, almost dreamlike side. It’s a sensory and heritage experience to be enjoyed in hushed tones, ideal for experiencing the magic of summer evenings in the Quercy region.

Offbeat visit New Abbey - Léobard

What if you could discover a medieval site without ever really looking at it? At Abbaye Nouvelle, the visit takes a different, sensory turn: you draw, observe through mirrors or with your fingers… Here, architecture becomes a pretext for experience, and discovery is as much about the body as the imagination.

In this grandiose setting steeped in history, landmarks are deliberately blurred to awaken our attention. You’ll be surprised, you’ll laugh and you’ll talk… Far from chronological accounts, this fun tour offers a lively and creative relationship with our heritage. It’s an offbeat experience for the whole family or a group of friends, a chance to be surprised and see the site in a different light.
