On a wooded hillside in the Dordogne Valley, in the cool shade of an oak and hornbeam forest, the Calviac Reserve unfolds along a 1.5 km trail. The hamlet "Sous le Roc," built against the rock, serves as the starting point for the visit. The Reserve is divided into four geographical zones (Europe, Madagascar, South America, and Oceania) where approximately 200 animals of 30 species reside and reproduce, most of which are forest-dwelling and endangered in the wild.
