The location of Le Piage has been occupied for about 50 000 years. Prehistoric habitats under rock, medieval troglodytes dwellings, a contemporary watermill, mix together on a departmental natural protected site (ENS)
A duck board walk way on the stream La Relinquière allows the discovery of ecological wealths of the wetland which was formed in contact with this waterway. This mosaic of milieu with its procession of species is remarkable. Look for marbled Triton, mottled Salamander, dragonflies, the protected butterflies Coppered marsh etc.As well as plants like sage, angelica, ash, alder etc
